Old City Park

Having fun, meeting your neighbors, and making new friends is what living in the City of Decatur is all about. Whether it is a local festival for all ages, a picnic with family and friends, or physical activity you seek, There is something for everyone. Check back as we will be adding more information.

At Old City Park you will find a playground area, swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court, horseshoe pits, bandstand, and a gazebo. To get to Old City Park, no matter which direction you are coming from, at the 4-stop you will want to enter onto Roller Ave/Falling Springs Road that takes you west of town and over the railroad tracks. Turn left onto 2nd just past the bridge and Simmon's guardshack. Go South on 2nd just a short distance and the you will see the park, where Pool Street intersects with 2nd.
