Tornado Siren Testing

Ends: 4/7/2020

The Decatur Fire Dept. tests the tornado sirens once a month, weather permitting. It is usually the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Should there be an event of a tornado, the 2 safe places in Decatur are the safe room at the Northside Elementary School located at 9083 Mt. Olive Rd, and the basement of the First Baptist Church located at 213 East Roller Ave. Go to the back side of the church.

First Baptist Church of Decatur Food Pantry

The First Baptist Church of Decatur holds a Food Pantry every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. For more information please contact Pastor Justin White at 479-282-6658.

Council Meeting

Begins: 4/13/2020
Ends: 4/13/2020 - 9:00 PM

The council meetings occur every 2nd monday of each month, unless otherwise posted. The meetings start at 6pm and are held in the conference room at City Hall. As a citizen of Decatur you are invited to attend these meetings and check out what is going on with your city government.

City Wide Clean Up

Begins: 4/23/2020
Ends: 4/23/2020

Thursday, April 23, 2020 is the inside city limits city wide clean up. Please have your trash set out at the curb by 6:30 am. For a complete list click: Unacceptable Items

The list will be titled for dumpsters, but it is the same list. 

As of March 31, 2020 the city wide clean up is still scheduled and happening.
