This year is the 66th Annual Decatur Barbecue featuring the Bellamy Brothers as the headlining act and Kevin Upshw as the opening act. The BBQ is held this year on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Veterans Park located at 1105 N. Main St. in Decatur. This is an all day event so be sure to bring your lawn chairs. Parking will be $5/car.

Events held are: arts and crafts, car show, parade, cornhole tournament, Tiny Tot Contest, Miss Decatur BBQ, and entertainment. Directly after the entertainment there will be a Firework Display.

16th Annual Carshow Will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Veteran's Park. Registration is from 10am to noon and awards will be given out at 3 pm. The registration fee is $20~day of show. Awards will go to the top 25 entrants. For more information please call 479-212-1500.

What is Cornhole? It is a game in which players take turns throwing bean bags at a hole on a raised platform with the hole being at the far end. Play continues until a player or team reaches the score of 21. Other popular names for this game are Bean Bag Toss, Sack Toss, or Bag-O.
