Tornado Disaster Relief New Resources

If you are someone who has suffered loss and damage from the 2024 tornadoes, here are a couple of resources that may help you restore and meet your unmet needs.

There is an organization made up of local leaders that form the Western Benton County Partnership. This group of people have a desire to protect and improve the quality of life for those who live in the western part of Benton County. Funds have been made available to this group for those who are trying to restore their life back to what it was before it was dramatically changed on May 26, 2024 when tornadoes ripped across Northwest Arkansas destroying everything in its path. You can click the printable application link, fill it out and turn it in to the Mayor's office in Gentry, Decatur, or Gravette.

Francisco Sanchez Jr., associate administrator for the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience at the Small Business Administration, announced today that SBA will open its Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Decatur City Hall at 9 am on Tuesday, August 20. "At the center, SBA customer service representatives are available to meet with businesses and residents who were affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding that occurred May 24-27, to answer their questions, explain SBA's disaster loan program and close their approved disaster loans on the days and times indicated below," said Sanchez. No appointment is necessary.
